Seems like the executive branch has been putting some serious ink to paper recently in preparation for the unforeseen? Another scribbled signature by our president and yet another new executive order is being signed into law in regards to emergency preparedness. So is there something in our near future that our elected officials know that we don’t?
For most concerned citizens in the United States the recent government emergency preparedness preparations have been clear and convincing indicators to justify personal preparations at home.
Executive order 13618 or the Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions now gives the president and homeland security the ability to control all domestic communications in a declared national emergency. So what is a national emergency? That definition is not clearly defined.
